Cotswold Hare warmly welcomes you to our beautiful Cirencester Bed and Breakfast.
Cotswold Hare offers a charming, recently renovated B&B on a quiet residential street within a short stroll from the centre of this historic Roman Market Town.
Our guest house offers seven tastefully furnished en-suite rooms, including a family room. Three of our rooms are situated on the ground floor and four on the first floor. Each room is well equipped with a 32” smart television, complementary tea & coffee tray, hair dryer and fan.
In addition, we also have one complementary on-site parking space per room, guest conservatory, patio and wireless internet access. We are a non-smoking property and have CCTV.
Cirencester is known as 'The Capital of the Cotswolds' in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Cirencester has lovely restaurants, pubs and cafes. The town is also popular for its almost daily markets, beautiful parks, boutiques and independent shops. We are also very fortunate to have two theatres, The Barn and The Sundial.
Corinium Museum is most definitely worth a visit as well as the Parish Church of St. John Baptist where they have tours from spring to autumn. You may also want to visit the remains of one of the largest Roman amphitheatres in Britain which is just on the edge of our lovely town. It was built in the early second century and it is understood it could hold about 8,000 spectators.
From May to September, the Cirencester Open Air Swimming pool is open and it is heated. It is one of the oldest outdoor pools in Britain, dating back to 1870 and is in a very picturesque position.
On the south side of Cirencester there is the Cotswold Sculpture Park. Set in a beautiful woodland with ponds, gardens and glades you can enjoy meandering through and looking at the wonderful sculptures.
